The Artisan changes regularly. If you are new here, you may need a hand to navigate our site. The vertical column of Menu choices in the left hand Menu of the Opening (or Home) Page as well as the horizontal row of buttons at the bottom of other pages, are the navigation aids to content on this site.
Shortcut tips include: Recent additions can generally be found in the New Stuff area. Also check the Recipe Route page in the Commentary Section for recent changes and additions. The easiest way to return to the Home Page is to either click the button at the bottom of each page, the BACK button on your browser, or the close window button (The X in the topmost right hand corner position of a window) for pages that open in a new page. By doing so, you will revert to the calling page.
A scrolling Headlines Window containing short blurbs of all that's new as well as links to them is accessed via the Main Page, along with Feature Articles.
The Main Page also contains a Site Search function as well a searchable Artisan DataBase. Both may be accessed from the left side menu on The Main Page, are easy to use and are quite fast. . Direct links from the Headlines turn Red as you pass your mouse over them. Contacting us is easy. Simply click on "Contact Us" and an e-mail form appears.
Often a page may be visited by clicking on an Image or on an indicated Button. Topics which do fit neatly into any of the button categories are indicated by emphasis, color or both. For Example, the latest content additions to The Artisan are the restaurant reviews in the Commentary Section. This is indicated in the text. Directions to these reviews are noted.
The number of recipes on the site continues to increase. Consequently, each time you visit there may be either new bread recipes, new food recipes or both. Again, check the New stuff area. Responses to requests for technical support and of general interest are posted in the Commentary Section. Because the site is growing, please be patient if it seems that the search engines and databases take a little longer to find a topic for you. We try to use the fastest code available, and are still limited by the nascent speed of the browser.
At the bottom of many pages or frames you will find an easy way to return to the Home or Main page of to The Artisan, as well as to any section. If you choose to return to the HOME page from here, close this window, and return to the page from which you came. Use the buttons at the bottom of each page to access the page you want, including the Home or the Main pages.
